Our handcrafted jewelry does not have the same look as machine made jewelry. Small imperfections and slight differences from the pictures may occur. It is the character and charm of handmade - knowing that an actual human made your piece of jewelry from start to finish.

Care instructions

Jewelry has to be handled with care and is not indestructible. It should be taken off during heavy physical work, showering, dish washing and swimming. Exposure to chemicals (e.g. chlorine, soap, skincare products) should be avoided. Metal and gemstones can change color due to skin contact, chemicals and cosmetics. 

It is best to clean your items with warm soapy water and a soft toothbrush - the electric kind makes it fast and easy. Ultrasonic cleaners should only be used for pieces without gemstones.

Any surface finish on metals has a tendency to wear off, and dark oxidations on smooth surfaces will wear off a lot faster. This is not a fault or a reason for a refund. You can restore the black color at home with 'liver of sulfur'. 

What about a warranty?

Your new piece of jewelry comes with limited warranty.
Once a year we will remove scratched from everyday wear, clean the piece of jewelry and restore the original surface for up to 5 years after purchase upon request.
If something on the item breaks or comes loose or a stone gets lost and we determine it's a defect in craftmanship we will cover the repair up to 1 year after purchase. That determination will be made solely by us after inspection. Damage or loss from everyday wear as well as damage occurred from any abusive wear will not be covered.

Repairs or alterations done by someone other than us will void the warranty.
Loss is not covered.

How fast will my order ship?

Items in stock, that are ready to ship will ship within 1 week after the order is placed. For made to order items average turnaround time is 2-4 weeks (not including shipping time), depending on our schedule.

Rush orders:
If you have a rush inquiry or need your order until a certain date sooner than our average turnaround time, please contact us PRIOR to your purchase. Rush order fees may apply to cover costs of extra material and studio time.

We ship from the USA - international customers please keep in mind that there might be custom and import fees due. It is your (the buyers) responsibility to pay these, they are not included in the shipping costs charged by us.

Is my order insured against loss or damage during shipping?

Yes. Domestic orders from within the USA will ship with USPS Priority Mail, fully insured and with delivery or signature confirmation.
We offer Priority Mail Express Shipping within the USA - however, please note that this does not influence the making time for made to order items - if you need to rush the making of your order, please contact us in advance, rush order fees may apply.
International orders will ship with First Class Mail International (shipping time 3-4 weeks), insured and with delivery confirmation (if available). You can choose faster Priority Mail International during Checkout.
If your order was stolen, lost or damaged during the shipping process, please contact us immediately.

Is it possible to return an item and request a refund?

If for some reason you are not happy with your purchase please message us for instructions before returning anything.
You as the customer have to cover return postage unless we made a mistake or the item arrives broken.
All Items must be returned in unused, original condition and packaging. If the item is returned in used condition, the return will be refused or a restocking fee will be charged.

Which items can not be returned?

custom items: can not be returned, exchanged or refunded.
personalized items: Items with engravings etc. can not be returned. This includes all items altered or made to your specifications like ring resizing, metal changes, stone changes etc.
Items on layaway or payment plans are not refundable.
Earrings are not refundable due to hygienic reasons.
Shipping costs and rush order fees are not refundable.
Sale items are final sales.

Repairs and resizings

If you ordered a ring in a wrong size, we can usually resize it for you. A resizing fee and re-shipping fee will apply.
Please understand that resizing a ring involves a lot of work. Resizing and repair work is handled like a complete new order meaning it is going to take some time to remake your ring (up to 4 weeks).
Not all rings can be resized – this especially applies to gemstone rings. Sometimes this also means that we have to remake the whole ring for you.

If you are not sure which size you need please contact us before purchase. We can work with ring sizes from US, UK, Europe, Germany, etc.

Repairs on items are assessed on a piece by piece case as normal wear and tear on items is not covered by any implied warranty or guarantee.

Custom orders

We love to work on custom orders. If you see an item in the shop you would like in a different material, size, width, with a different gemstone etc. - send a message for a quote and a personal listing.

We are also excited to work with you on a full customized piece of jewelry, as long as we think it is something we can do and do it well.

A down payment or full payment will be required (depending on the project) before we start working on your custom order.
There will be a non-refundable down payment of 30% of the purchase price for custom orders, in case you want to cancel a custom order while we make it.
Finished custom orders are non refundable.
